ABOUT

Jonathan Mosos, DPT, RRCA-L1

I have a doctorate of physical therapy through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and I am a certified coach through Road Runners Club of America. I am currently working to obtain my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialization through the NASM.

I was raised in Eustis Florida and grew up playing baseball, up until my freshman year of college in 2013. At that moment I decided to pursue a degree in psychology and graduated from Florida State (GO NOLES) in 2017.

Two short years later I found triathlon and fell in love with running shortly after. Upon completion of my coursework in my doctorate program of physical therapy (2022), it became evident to me that I wanted to blend my love for running with my fascination for injury prevention and physiological optimization.

While attaining my Doctorate of physical therapy, I completed 5 triathlons, 1 ultramarathon, and several 5k’s/10k’s. I say this to illustrate the fact that it is feasible to train for 10-15 hours per week, while having other obligations, when you have the right scheduling and periodization.

I’m here to help you meet whatever your goals are for running. While performance optimization (running economy, VO2 max) is the goal, injury prevention is at the forefront of my programming.
